Beautiful
Ke'e Beach
is found at the very end of the road.  Passage beyond this lagoon is impossible except on foot, hiking the Kalalau trail;
April, 2002

Sunset from Ke'e Beach looking down toward the  rugged
NaPali Coast; November, 2002

The water at Haena Beach Park on this day was the most amazing color of blue, and there were only a handful of people there to enjoy it; May, 2003

This Racoon Butterfly Fish was swimming with friends among the coral at Tunnel's Beach; February, 2001

Breathtaking sunset looking over Hanalei Bay from the Princeville Hotel in May, 2003.

I was halfway down the trail to the secluded Hideaways Beach near the Princeville Hotel when I took this picture of the beach in

Waterfalls
are regularly seen on the mountainside from Princeville and Hanalei.  After a rainy night you can often see eight or more cascading down the mountain; April, 2002

The view looking back toward the
tee box (and Hanalei Bay) on the Princeville Makai Ocean's # 4 is stunning; November, 2002

Looking
west across Hanalei Bay toward Mt Makena (popularly known as
Bali Hai)
as the waves roll in;
March, 2002

One of the magnificent displays shown nightly from the bluffs in Princeville; April 2002

I love crossing the bridge at Kalihiwai.  The trees are beautiful and there are waterfalls both above and below the road; September 2001

Beautiful Opaeka'a Falls is just one of many wonderful waterfalls on Kauai; January, 2001

The beach that fronts the Kauai Sheraton & Kiahuna Plantation is often a great beach for swimming or bodyboarding; March, 2002

Just your average sunset from Po'ipu
Beach Park...
Swimmers and snorkelers were
still enjoying the water as the sun began to go down; March 2002

Waimea Canyon is more impressive and amazing than any photograph can show. The colors are indescribable; October, 2002

The view of the Kalalau valley and ocean below is simply breathtaking. Photographs cannot do it justice; November, 2002
Another lovely sunset on Kauai's
North Shore, April, 2004

Waves wash ashore on a north shore beach, October, 2004
